Non-profit Work

The Banning High School band celebrates ShareFest's Seventh Annual Workday.

ShareFest Community Development is a non-profit dedicated to creating caring communities by serving students and families in under-priviledged neighborhoods. The organization does this primarily through wide-reaching service projects and youth services.

From 2008 to 2010, I worked to chronicle and further ShareFest’s impact in the South Bay and Harbor areas. This has given me the opportunity to interview figures such as Los Angeles Mayor Antionio Villaraigosa, exposed me to a wide range of diversity, and let me practice new skills like photography and implementing social media.

Writings include blogs, newsletters and various other articles about anything from simple improvement projects to targeted youth academies combating gang culture.

You should donate to these guys.
